Sponsorship Stories

Robinson Residential Design has been pleased to have been involved for many years with HFHR, offering our design help and in the production of the working drawings each year for the builds.  Our association goes back to the first house built in Princess Street, in 1993.

I can remember back when as I kid, our family benefitted from the generosity and efforts of others.  Not realizing it at the time, this action helped us shape our career paths and goals.  Being able to someday help someone else in a variety of situations would become our way of expressing our gratitude and appreciation.

Many of us are fortunate to have been able to flourish in our chosen careers and life directions.  This success makes it important to give back in whatever way we can, either with time, talents, cash or materials.  Our involvement with HFHR at a local level reminds us of the importance of having a roof over our heads that we can be proud of, quite different from the aspiration of multiple ensuites, triple garages and media rooms.  We are happy to have the opportunity to be part creating a ‘new start’ on the home front for Regina families.

“Over the past 3 years I have had the pleasure of working with the wonderful group of individuals at Habitat For Humanity Regina.  Being involved with our vendors we have been able to donate numerous items to help this great cause.  The team at Habitat has made our involvement easy and extremely rewarding.  I look forward to developing this relationship.”

‘Giving back’ and ‘doing the right thing’ are two of The Home Depot’s core values and our relationship with Habitat for Humanity in Regina allow us to live these values year-round.

Our two Regina stores provide the local ReStore with product donations while our associates donate their time and know-how on local build projects.  Over the past two years, The Home Depot associates have volunteered more than 400 hours on the Rae St and Cameron St build projects thanks in part to Habitat’s welcoming nature and the dedication and passion of our store associates.

The Home Depot looks forward to building on our partnership with Habitat for Humanity Regina to develop healthy, affordable housing for local families in need.
