ReStore sells gently used and surplus brand new building supplies, household goods, furniture and appliances. ReStore profits fund all of the administrative costs for Habitat for Humanity Regina. This also allows 100% of all build donations to go towards the homes.
Waalnut Construction is a supporter of Habitat for Humanity Regina and they are dedicated to building non-toxic, earth-conscious structures. Waalnut focuses on creating well-designed, poison-free, efficient, sustainable homes that will last for generations and they strive to construct responsible homes that are both beautiful and functional.
Habitat for Humanity Regina ReStore and Waalnut Construction are like-minded in that we are both working to reduce our carbon footprint by keeping useable and valuable materials out of the landfill. Together we have taken on a new challenge! August 19th to the 21st using unconventional supplies and lumber, we will partner to build a cabin over just those three days. Zoot Pictures a local, award-winning production company will film the project in its entirety. Once
filming is complete, footage will be provided to major television broadcasters who have expressed great interest in airing the footage in the form of a short
series once the build is complete.
