Hi everyone.
I’d like to thank you all so much for being here and for celebrating this very special day with us. I have so many people to thank that have made this dream come true for us. We have been blessed by so many.
I would first of all like to thank the RCMP for their very special hand in our home. Thank you so much to Roger, all your affiliates, the cadets, the members, and the staff. Thank you for the funds raised to build our home, and thank you for all the time you’ve put into this home with both building and the planning and the fundraising involved to get this done for my family. You are truly hero’s to us…and for that I am forever grateful.
Thank you to Saskatchewan Housing Corporation and all that you do for making dreams come true for families like mine.
Thank you to Affinity for the financial help you’ve put towards our home. Thank you for providing the costs for the Musical Ride, which allowed a lot of funding
towards our home.
Thank you to Mosaic. You have been a strong supporter of Habitat for Humanity builds, and my family is grateful for that, as well I’m sure as so many other Habitat families.

girl” like me. You guys all taught me so much…things I never dreamed I would have done in my lifetime!! It was a pleasure to work with you guys. And thank you to everyone involved with Habitat…staff and volunteers…those I know of and those I do not, that put so much effort and time into helping to build a home for so many families. It’s so amazing what you guys do.
Last, but not least, thank you to my family, my friends, my coworkers, and all volunteers (some of which I have met, some I have not) for taking time out of your busy schedules, time away from your own families, in order to help out me and my kids. I appreciate that so much. And we had so much fun! To my family and friends, this has been a special time, and the time we spent working together is a keepsake forever in my memory. I love you guys.
To everyone involved and to everyone here I would like you to know that to my kids and I, this is so much more than just a house…it is something stable and secure in our lives…it is hope and inspiration for the future…it is peace and contentment as a family…it is a place for our love to grow. It is not just a house…it is our home. It shows that no matter where you are in your life, or what has happened in the past, there is always hope…there is always light.
